ABOUT TATIANA EVA-MARIE
Nicknamed “the Gypsy-jazz Warbler” by the New York Times and acclaimed as a “millennial shaking up the jazz scene” by magazine Vanity Fair, Tatiana Eva-Marie is a transatlantic bandleader, singer, and actress who has gathered international renown and 100 million views on YouTube. Tatiana Eva-Marie’s singing is inspired by her own French and Rromani heritage; a love for Parisian chanson spanning the 1920s to the 60s; a passion for Gypsy music and jazz Manouche; a fascination for New Orleans music; and a deep connection to the Great American Songbook. Through the lens of this musical kaleidoscope, she explores the music of Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet, Cole Porter, and other composers who were at the origins of French jazz, while adding her own original lyrics and arrangements to the mix.

In the past few years, Tatiana Eva-Marie has been expanding her touring internationally and building a devoted online following among jazz fans and music lovers worldwide. In 2024, Tatiana Eva-Marie premiered her first opera as a librettist in Switzerland and released her new album “Djangology” on GroundUp Music in June.
In 2025, following the release of her Disney tribute album A Whole New World, Tatiana Eva-Marie continued to expand her Django Songbook in collaboration with The Echoes of Django, a band hailing from the shores of her native Lake Léman, and her long-time friend and partner in crime, violinist Daniel Garlitsky. The project culminated in the album Django’s Tiger (release date: November 21, 2025, via Ïnouïe Distribution).

DJANGO’S TIGER – Album Presentation
Imagine a lakeside guinguette on the shores of Lake Geneva: in the distance a few guitar tremolos, a violin melody taking flight, and a lilting voice reminiscent of an old black-and-white film. It’s there, within the walls of Studio Blend, in a quiet corner of French-speaking Switzerland, that five kindred spirits — musicians, bon vivants, true friends — came together to record Django’s Tiger: an album like a convertible getaway through the vineyards, along the backroads of Europe’s musical landscape.
This project is the wandering poetry of singer Tatiana Eva-Marie, returning to her hometown of Lausanne for a musical adventure with Parisian violinist Daniel Garlitsky and the members of Echoes of Django: Jean-Baptiste Guerrier (double bass), Jérémie Pellaz and Charles Fréchette (guitars). Together, they revisit the repertoire of Django and Grappelli – and more! – in a multilingual celebration (English, French, Italian, German) infused with the flavors of Gypsy jazz, Eastern European folk, American swing, and Swiss terroir. The result is a blend of original lyrics, fresh arrangements, and deep camaraderie.
You’ll find in it the spirit of smoky bistros, endless nights, traveling jazz, and impromptu celebrations — above all, that unbreakable bond between them, made of music, wine, friendship… and heart.

Bio
Born into a family of musicians, painters, and poets, Tatiana Eva-Marie began her career at age four, as a singer and actress, immersed in a world of show business, arts, and culture. Before her twenties, she had already recorded many albums, established herself as an actress on the Paris stage, and written and directed two musicals, while pursuing a Master’s Degree in medieval literature at the Sorbonne University. She developed a fascination for the Renaissance Man archetype and began to travel the world collaborating with artists of various spheres. She then chose New York as her home base, where she quickly built up a reputation as a singer, and started the Avalon Jazz Band, which became overnight the number one reference for French swing around the world, now accruing 100 million views on YouTube. She performed on some of the most important American stages and has been regarded as the international ambassador of “1930s Paris”.
In 2022, Tatiana became Gérome Barry’s leading lady in his first feature film Swing Rendez-Vous, loosely based on her New York lifestyle as a jazz singer. In the past few years, Tatiana released five albums, starred as guest singer in various projects, wrote the libretto of a “prohibition opera” Eden Park by composer Gérard Massini, and started an online arts and culture publication – Shrine Magazine. Completely dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to artistic creation, she is at the same time lyricist, arranger, producer, and artistic director on most of her projects. Also a collage artist, she conceived and created the artwork for her latest album Djangology, released on GroundUp Music in June 2024.
She is currently working on publishing a Django songbook with her original lyrics, writing the libretto for a second opera – an adaptation of a novel by Boris Vian – and touring worldwide. Her latest album A Whole New World, a collection of Disney songs in French, was released in April 2025 on Burton Avenue with a Virgin International distribution. Her next album “Django’s Tiger” is set to be released on November 21st, 2025 via Ïnouie Distribution.
A DJANGO SONGBOOK
Tatiana Eva-Marie’s ongoing project of a Django Songbook sprang from a desire to reconnect with her Gypsy origins and become a spokesperson for the music she grew up with. She has taken on the mission of celebrating the legacy of Django Reinhardt – the precursor of Gypsy jazz / jazz Manouche and one of the most influential guitarists of all time. Instead of focusing on the emblematic style of playing that he created, she aims to highlight the music of Django the composer, with her own original lyrics and arrangements.
“I grew up in the jazz manouche circles, which are dominated by swarms of guitarists – it’s not always easy to fit in as a singer! The microcosm fascinated me and I too wanted to participate in the Django repertoire… I saw only one option: I had to write my own lyrics, tell my own stories, reinvent his music in my own image.” Through lyrics in English, French, Romanian, and Rromanes (the Gypsy language), Tatiana narrates – with humour and poetry – her journey from the dark alleys of the Latin Quarter to the chic New York society salons and shares her unique heritage with the audience.

BIO
