The Lambs Club NYC

Jazz at the Lambs

Wednesday night I sang at the Lambs Club with my quartet: Gordon Webster on the piano, Jérémy Bruyère on the upright bass and Francesco Ciniglio on the drums. I love the Lambs Club for many reasons… first of all I love the decor. It’s surprising to find such an isle of sophistication right in the middle of Times Square’s apocalyptic trashiness. The mezzanine lounge has a cool retro vibe that makes you think of “Mad Men” and pairs so well with old school jazz and old fashioned cocktails. Then of course there is the history of the place and the ghosts of artists past that hang around the very air above us and roam the corridors of the Chatwal Hotel. And let’s not forget the sumptuous cuisine of Iron Chef Zakarian, who makes lamb chops dance and pumpkin soup sing. Delicious and beautiful.

Here is a picture of us from Wednesday night, I hope you like my flashy pink dress because I absolutely adore it. Don’t forget to join us for brunch every Sunday from 11am to 2:30pm for some swing and French jazz… and eggs any style.
